**Selection Criteria**:
**KSC 1**. Demonstrated experience in supporting children and adults in a caring and compassionate manner yet maintaining professionalism and discretion. Ability to provide first aid care and support to students.

**KSC 2.** Evidence of experience in effective records management, activity and injury recording, assessment and care planning.

**KSC 3**. Demonstrated experience in student administration tasks such as maintaining students¿ records, entering daily attendance, and providing attendance reports to Heads of House.

**KSC 4.** High level ability to work cooperatively and to a professional standard with all members of a school community - parents, students, staff.

**KSC 5.** Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to utilise computer software products effectively.

**Role**:
As part of the role, the person will need to provide accurate, timely and comprehensive administration of student attendance and first aid data, to the Directors of House/Wellbeing director. In addition, student management processes across the school form an integral part of the role. Necessary skills include the ability to be pro-active, to maintain a positive attitude and welcoming demeanour, to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work directly with secondary school students, staff and parents.

**Responsibilities**:
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
First Aid:

- Current Level 2 First Aid / CPR Certificates required.
- Provide attendant care to students and staff as required.
- Manage procedural and administrative support for First Aid encompassing:

- Manage compliance registers and Action Plans for students/staff.
- Update and maintain information around the school for students with medical conditions.
- Prepare and maintain first aid packs for all excursions.
- Engage First Aid providers for training and professional development of staff.
- Undertake DET specified Anaphylaxis trainers/verifiers course.
- Conduct in-house Anaphylaxis training program for staff.
- Ensure First Aid operations are undertaken in accordance with current DET/Nossal HS Policies and Guidelines.
- Prompt entry of treatment given to students into Compass and Cases21.
- Maintain and order First Aid supplies as required e.g. epipens.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of First Aid room, equipment and facilities.
Support the OH&S Team:

- maintain DISPLAN registers and trolley.
- identify and document risks and issues.
- provide information and communication with all stakeholders (staff/visitors/contractors etc.) to ensure that a safe and healthy workplace is established and maintained, which conforms to compliance standards.
- Attend OH&S meetings.
Student Management: Attendance/Administration.
- Follow-up and ensuring daily attendance roles have been entered into Compass.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to the Assistant Principal: Wellbeing & Agency and Directors of House regarding student attendance, particularly flagging reoccurring and potential issues and students of concern.
- Manage and maintain data relating to student enrolments, attendance, exits and transfers utilising relevant software (e.g. Cases21, Compass and a range of Microsoft Office suite programs).
- Initiate and manage annual midyear parent data update to ensure accurate student records for August Census.
- Process annual February and August census data, and end of year administration roll over.
- Liaise with Principal in regard to ACER and Edutest enrolments for new students including specific Yrs 10
- 11 tests and entry processes.
- Collate information from parents for new enrolment (e.g. birth certificates, copy of visa, court orders if relevant and transfers notice).
- Support the Principal team with the annual enrolment of future students.
