**The Opportunity**

The Centre for Health Economics, Monash University is seeking an enthusiastic Research Fellow with qualifications in an economics or quantitative health related discipline to join their highly motivated Health Technology Assessment research group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and vibrant multidisciplinary team whose research in health technology assessment, health and economic outcome measurement, health services and policy evaluations has a national and international reputation for rigour and quality.

The successful applicant will undertake research to estimate the health benefits, costs and value-for-money of new health technologies. This research will directly inform national healthcare funding decisions and contribute to the broader health and economic literatures. Through this research, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn cutting edge methods for analysing clinical trial and real-world datasets, measuring health and economic outcomes and modelling the long-term implications of policy decisions. The successful applicant will work alongside internationally renowned health economists across a broad portfolio of exciting projects and further develop their own research agenda. This position best suits an early career researcher looking to start or continue to build an academic career in the field of health economics.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
