Our Aboriginal Home Health service program delivers culturally appropriate in-home support services to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

Our Community Access Coordinators hold a pivotal role in our business, understanding the needs of local communities and connecting those in their communities and key local partners to the **NORTHERN** Aboriginal Home Health team. Working in line with our continued business growth, by promoting our services to attract new customers and referrals.

We are currently recruiting for 3 x Community Access Coordinators to join our Northern Team, flexible location across the following locations:

- Newcastle
- Coffs Harbour
- Mid North Coast
- Moree/Tamworth/Armidale

You will be involved in the following and more in this rewarding community focused role:

- Present Australian Unity’s comprehensive, complex, and diverse range of products and services through various community channels and events.
- Connect with community stakeholders to engage and promote our Home Health services
- Be present and active within your local Aboriginal community
- Create product awareness and building familiarity with the Aboriginal Home Health brand as a leading provider of health and community services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

**ABOUT YOU**:
You will have a deep understanding of the needs of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities. In addition, you will also show a genuine passion and commitment for working in aged care and Home Health.

Does this sound like you?
- A proactive and contributing member of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community
- The ability to identify, quantify and nurture local relationships to attract new customers and identify unmet needs in the community.
- Be a natural communicator with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
- Proven ability and experience in previous roles where you have had to review and deliver policies and procedures for services within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and other organisations.
- Desire to support and empower your Elders and Mob.

**Salary**: $72,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year
