**Admissions Officer**
- Full time Ongoing position
- Based in Burnie, Launceston or Hobart
- Deliver a high level of customer service and advice throughout the admissions process

**The Opportunity**

The Admissions Officer will operate under direction of the Team leaders, manager and Head of the Admissions Operations team for all admissions and enrolments related activities. Admissions Operations activities impact significantly on the University objectives and the incumbent will play an active role in achieving set targets and minimising negative impacts on performance.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Develop professional collaborative relationships with Colleges/Institutes, Recruitment, administrative areas and other stakeholders to ensure satisfactory outcomes for applicants and the University.
- Prepare detailed reports, correspondence and documents on complex and sensitive issues relating to admissions and enrolments.
- Participate as part of a well-rounded high performing team to deliver efficient innovative admissions and enrolment operations for the University.
- Work with the Team Leader to maintain, establish and implement consistent entry standards and requirements for University courses in line with industry benchmarks.

**Your Application**
- A degree or postgraduate qualification from a recognised higher education institution with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and/or training.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to a variety of audiences in a variety of situations.
- Organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle competing priorities, meet strict deadlines and work under pressure with a level of attention to detail.
- A proven track record in the delivery of excellent customer service and ability to resolve conflict.

**Remuneration**

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $96,794 comprising base salary within the range of $74,080 to $82,730 plus 17% superannuation.
