**Your part in one of our Private Hospitals**
- The Health Information Manager/s will lead and accept responsibility for the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of the provision of health information services at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, Buderim Private Hospital and/or St Stephen’s Private Hospital. You will lead and direct a small team and your span will include clinical record management, and clinical data management in both a paper and digital environment.- The position requires knowledge and understanding of developments in digital health, health information, records management and industry best practice to enable you to provide expert advice and direction on matters relating to health information management and patient/clinical information systems.- Key responsibilities of this role include advice and support in records and information management, reporting and analysis to meet statutory obligations as well as adhoc reporting requests to support opportunities for improvement in delivery of health services. Ensuring Australian Privacy Principles are applied to the management of the medical records, managing release of information and medico legal matters, responsibility for privacy and confidentiality matters, and effectively managing human resources are also key functions of this role. This role will also investigate, analyse and interpret industry trends and developments and ensure clinical documentation meets Australian standards and compliance with funder requirements.**What makes a difference for us?**
- Using your communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll work effectively with your team, undertaking a collaborative leadership role in decision making, mentoring and supporting the hospital to maintain the health information service. You’ll demonstrate:
- Knowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI, ACS and AR-DRGs
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar environment
