**About the Opportunity**
As part of the People Experience Team within the People Program, the Graduate, People Experience will support a range of projects, programs and initiatives to enhance the performance and experience of our employees.
In this role, you will work closely with all roles within the People Experience team, as well as collaborating and supporting projects within other areas of the broader People Team, which include human resource management and safety and wellbeing.
Some of the things you’ll see yourself doing with us are:
- Undertaking research to inform best practice and evidenced-based initiatives.
- Developing content and structure for training programs.
- Supporting the creation and implementation of development programs for leaders and employees.
- Proving input to organisational culture development including surveys, reporting and action planning

Specific to the graduate program, you will also have access to:
- **Mentorship**: You'll be partnered with a City of Adelaide leader who will provide guidance and support throughout your first year.
- **Development**: Approximately 40 hours of professional development over two years, including participation in the City Leaders program and a collaborative group project with other graduates.
- **Regular check-ins**: You’ll have regular 1:1 conversation with your leader to ensure ongoing support, goal setting, wellbeing checks and guidance.
- **Hone your skills**: Opportunities to develop a broad range of transferable skills relevant to various government roles federal, state and local.
- **Networking opportunities**:within the City Council and the broader government sector.
**About You**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Graduated within approximately the two years or are expecting to graduate within approximately the next 6 months, with a degree in Organisational Development, Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, or Human Resource Management.
- Skills and knowledge in conducting research to inform best practice and evidence-based approaches.
- Ability to work in an open, creative and collaborative environment, with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and operate efficiently under pressure to complete work.
- Skilled in communication and being able to present effectively both orally and written.
- Strong organisational skills, the ability to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, continuous learning, and to building your career.
