SDCCC is a Not-for-Profit Community Children’s Service. Educators and families work in partnership to get the best educational outcomes for the children in our care and the families of the service.

**Qualifications and Skills include**:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Working with children check
- RRHAN Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care
- Current First Aid qualification (HLTAID012)
- Develop strong relationships with children and families to ensure a positive learning environment and outcomes for children
- Implement policies, procedures and practices of the organisation
- Work towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations and service

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Be involved in supporting the team to provide high-quality early childhood education and care
- Willingness to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
- Plan experiences and activities aimed at developing and extending each child's thinking, skills, interests, and abilities
- Undertake assessments of the learning of children including gathering, analysing, planning documenting, and evaluating children’s learning
- Working under the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and applicable regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care
- Working by the Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct and upholding the services’ philosophy
- Maintain and uphold Workplace Health and Safety
- Maintain and uphold privacy and confidentiality
