Vce Exam Supervisor

Based at our Melton Campus we have a rare opportunity for VCE Exam Supervisors to join our team and oversee the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments as required by the VCAA for our Yr12 students. This is an ongoing contract supervising annual external examinations held in October and November.

Exam supervisors have overall responsibility for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments and will be responsible for reconciling all external assessment material and ensure they are securely stored according to VCAA requirements.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Ensuring a clear and common understanding of the requirements for any student with an approved Special Examination Arrangement
- Ensuring correct external assessments are distributed to students
- Supervision of Exam room
- Ensuring authorised school personnel are notified of any student who does not follow instructions given by the supervisor in the examination room and ensuring suitable arrangements are in place, in the event a student's behaviour requires their removal from the examination room
- Ensuring all response material is collected and packed according to VCAA requirements the safekeeping and handing over of the completed response material to the VCAA courier.

Newly appointed Exam Supervisors will be required to attend training for the VCE external assessments before the GAT in June. A Working with Children Check is essential for this position. To be eligible you must not have taught units 1-2 or 3-4 in the past two years (both teaching or tutoring), be related to or associated with any student undertaking a VCE unit 3-4 and hold a current Working with Children Check.
