**Role Description/Criteria**

Sacred Heart College Geelong has several opportunities for enthusiastic and dedicated educators to join the team in Term 3 2023:

- 1 x VCE Unit 1/2 Biology and/or Junior Science Teacher - Full time, Semester 2 leave cover (10/07/23-28/01/24)
- 1 x VCE Visual Communications and/or Junior Art Teacher - 0.63 FTE, Term 3 leave cover (10/07/23-01/10/23)
- 1 x Psychology (VCE and Year 10) Teacher - 0.49 FTE, Term 3 leave cover (10/07/23-01/10/23)

**THE POSITION**

The Classroom Teacher is an expert in their discipline, and facilitates student learning by enhancing their own professional and personal development in the three teaching domains of Professional Knowledge, Professional Practice and Professional Engagement (aitsl.edu.au). The Classroom Teacher supports the wellbeing and holistic development of students, and plays a key mentoring role for students in their classes.
