**Senior Social Worker Grade 3**

**Critical Care - Trauma and Intensive Care**
- **Provide clinical excellence to the Social Work trauma team including the Intensive Care Unit**:

- The Senior Social Worker provides high quality care to clients through excellent clinical skills, effective communication, and active participation within a multidisciplinary team environment. Social workers aim to provide comprehensive assessment to enable a targeted intervention plan to be developed in consultation with the patient, their family, carers and significant others.
- The Royal Melbourne Hospital Social Work team consists of over 40 staff members who work across the City and Royal Park Campuses in acute, sub-acute and community-based services across a range of specialties.

**Your new role**:

- Conduct Social Work patient assessment, counselling and support
- Provide clinical excellence and social work service across but not limited to Trauma or Intensive Care.
- Be part of and contribute to a dynamic and progressive Social Work team
- Foster positive team and workplace culture
- You will be well supported by the Social Work Leaders (Grades 3 and 4), Social Work Manager, and the Social Work team.

- You have a strong ability to develop relationships with relevant team members from allied health, nursing and medical teams.
- You are adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced and evolving environment whilst providing patient-centred care.
- You demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills.
- You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style.
- You are looking to demonstrate your advanced Social Work skills and work with world leaders in trauma care, learning and research.
