**About the Role**

Under the guidance of the State Manager, you will provide direct line management, support, leadership and service management of the Allied Health Team to ensure the delivery of intensive counselling/therapy as required via office and outreach based support. The Allied Health service uses evidence based best-practice assessment, case formulation, treatment and prevention of a wide range of mental health disorders and other systemic barriers preventing our customers from entering employment or beginning study. The Allied Health Program Manager role also involves the delivery of staff training, staff supervision and consultancy with other service providers.

**This role is being offered on a full time, ongoing basis at our Adelaide CBD Site.**

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will be able to:

- Demonstrate experience in managing an Allied Health service and ability to complete reports and administrative tasks to a high standard;
- Demonstrate your ability to think strategically and develop and implement strategic plans;
- Demonstrate knowledge of the local labour market, and the requirements and expectations of employers;
- Demonstrate knowledge of government programs, legal frameworks and legislation pertaining to employment and training services;
- Demonstrate your ability to empower staff to achieve results in the Employment Services environment and/or similar environment;
- Demonstrate experience in building positive interpersonal and external relationships with staff and other agencies;
- Demonstrate experience in delivering a wide range of psychological assessments and a high level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in providing counselling and therapy to clients with complex needs; and
- Demonstrate experience in program delivery and group facilitation is highly regarded.

You will also be required to:

- Hold a current driver’s licence;
- Hold a minimum Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, or Mental Health Counselling; and
- Social Workers must be registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) (SA staff only).

**Remuneration**

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
