**About the Role**

Join our dynamic Emergency Multidisciplinary Assessment Team (EMAT) as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) and play a vital role in delivering exceptional allied health services to our patients. Working under the guidance of our dedicated allied health professionals, you’ll be at the forefront of clinical service delivery, directly contributing to the care of patients across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). From the bustling Royal Adelaide Hospital to the community-minded Queen Elizabeth Hospital, your efforts will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our services, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care.

Based in the Emergency Department of the Royal Adelaide Hospital, you will have the opportunity to assist physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers to deliver a range of physical therapies whilst also providing administrative support to the team.

As an AHA, you will not only support the clinical teams but also actively participate in improving patient outcomes through your compassionate approach and commitment to professional excellence. Your contributions will make a real difference in the lives of patients in our community and ambulatory services. **About You**

We’re looking for a dedicated Allied Health Assistant who is ready to make a difference To thrive in this role, you should possess the following key attributes:

- **Relevant Qualifications**: Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
- **Physical Capability**: Strong physical strength and endurance for manual handling tasks.
- **Communication Skills**: Ability to provide clear and accurate clinical handovers while maintaining confidentiality.
- **Proactive Attitude**: Initiative to manage your workload, recognise patient needs, and collaborate effectively with the team.
