Creatives Wanted to Teach Kids During The Holidays

Code Camp is Australia’s leading specialist school holiday and after-school provider We are looking for fun and energetic casual staff to assist at our creative-technology camps during the winter school holidays.

**Are you**:

- Experienced or interested in working with kids (ages 5-12)?
- Passionate about creativity and technology and fields like AI, animation, video game building, YouTube and video editing, design (graphic design, fashion design, interior design), music production or STEM?
- Trustworthy, independent, punctual, and reliable?
- Able to work full days between 8am - 4pm during the school holiday period 6 - 22 July)?
- Someone who feels confident speaking in front of a group and is enthusiastic and adaptable?
- Able to supply your own laptop and HDMI adapter to run a teaching presentation?

**About the position**:

- Camps run for 2-3 consecutive weekdays 8am - 4pm (we do not run on weekends or public holidays).
- You will be provided our lesson plan to follow and deliver to a small class of primary-aged children
- Paid training provided as well as support from a qualified teacher on the ground and our tech-support team via Slack.
- Please note, our staff are required to supply their own Laptop and HDMI adapter (if required).

**Required Skills/Certifications**:
Whilst we don’t require a specific degree or coding experience, you should have some of the following experience (or similar):

- Experience in or passion for creative fields that involve technology such as animation, design, video game building, coding, video editing, music production, AI
- Experience working with young kids preferred
- Mature outlook, common sense, and ability to identify and take action to manage risk and ensure active supervision of children inside and outside the classroom
- Fluent conversational English
- Valid Employee **Working With Children Check (please note it needs to be a NSW check for this location)** or willing to obtain immediately
