**About the Role**:
The Policy Officer contributes to the development and implementation of the regional Landscape Plan and Business Plan, contributes to a range of planning projects, and ensures that strategic and collaborative partnerships and working relationships are established that facilitate optimum results for establishing Adelaide as a cooler, greener, wilder and climate resilient city.
This ASO5 Policy Officer position is currently being advertised along with an ASO6 Senior Policy Officer position within the same workgroup. For further information on the ASO6 Senior Policy Officer position, please see Job Reference 565092.

**Contract**:
12 months initially, with the possibility of an extension.

**Desirable Qualifications**:
Tertiary qualification in environmental, planning, natural resources management, social sciences or related areas.

**Special Conditions**:

- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- Regional and interstate travel including overnight absences may be required.

**Remuneration**:
ASO5 - $84,522 min - $94,003 max p.a.
