An exciting fixed-term opportunity exists for two enthusiastic **Clinical Haematologists **with experience in iron deficiency anaemia management to be part of an exciting new combined service model with gastroenterology, including same-day iron infusion.

**About the department**:Clinical Haematology forms part of the Olivia Newton John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre at Austin Health, and provides services for a wide range of benign and malignant haematological conditions in the inpatient, specialist clinics, day treatment and home settings. Apheresis, autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation form part of the service in close collaboration with laboratory haematology. A consultative service is also provided throughout Austin Health.

Hours per week: 7.0 hours (2 x haematologists required in clinic concurrently for 3.5 hrs each on Tues pm)**:

**To be successful for this role you must**:

Be a registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)**:

- ** Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians or equivalent**:

- ** Have appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Clinical Haematology and in particular iron deficiency anaemia management**:

- ** Demonstrate a commitment to high quality patient care**:

- ** Demonstrate a commitment to working as a team member with peer medical, junior medical, nursing and other clinical staff to provide efficient, safe and quality care across the continuum, and**:

- ** Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, training and research.**
