The purpose of the ‘Digital Sales Experience Tribe’ is to attract and engage customers to evaluate, sign up and activate solutions that meet their banking needs and grow digital sales.

The Initiative Lead co-ordinates large, time-bound projects or major capability uplift that underpins the value Tribes deliver. The Initiative Lead ensures that the work is delivered with mínimal downtime for Tribes. The role involves coordinating the timing and scope of work that multiple Tribes, Domains and Divisions perform, and managing interdependencies between Tribes, squads and/or other parties (e.g. other teams in ANZ, third party providers) whilst successfully delivering a program of work. The Initiative Lead will track and manage the investment spend on the program of work ensuring that benefits are realised at pace.

As an Initiative Lead you will also be responsible for the following:
Organising the right skills and capabilities to augment squads to deliver outcomes
Providing clarity on value achievements, progress made and outcomes of our themes to the broader portfolio
Providing a future view of big ticket items, their priority and alignment to strategy both at the Tribe and portfolio levels
Managing inter-dependencies and removing roadblocks to initiatives
Working with regulatory bodies externally to ensure that we are complaint and meeting the needs

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong Project Management experience across different delivery methodologies, and also it is favorable to have Project Management accreditation/certification (i.e. PMP, Prince 2). Experience with Digital and Personalisation platforms is a bonus, but not mandatory
Previous experience in scoping and developing plans for strategic pieces of work
Experience in executing business change including key stakeholder management along the journey
Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision making; Ability to quickly gather information on the progress of work and communicate this to key stakeholders
Developed mechanisms to track performance and value realisation on investment
Identify, monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses
