**A little bit about us**

The Finance Governance Budget and Business Services Division provides high quality business services, systems, support and advice to the Department’s divisions, the Executive and Ministers. The Assurance, Integrity, Risk and Governance Branch takes the lead in improving the department’s integrity capability and capacity to ensure we have a pro-integrity culture and are meeting all relevant governance and assurance requirements.

The Performance Reporting supports the department’s governance arrangements and is responsible for managing departmental processes and structures relating to planning and reporting, transparency and accountability. This includes corporate reporting, business planning and annual reporting.

A role in this section provides a unique opportunity to gain an overall view of the department’s policy, program and regulatory activities. Work in these teams enables and assists divisions across the broad scope of the department to improve capability and performance.

**The opportunity we have available**

This is an opportunity for someone who is keen to work in a fast paced, dynamic team, get a bird’s eye view of everything the Department is responsible for, and gain an in depth understanding of the Department’s planning, reporting and compliance obligations as a non-corporate Commonwealth entity under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, Rules 2014, and subsequent Resource Management Guides.

**What will you do?**- Contributing to the delivery of the Department’s performance framework, corporate plan and annual report, including coordinating input from divisions across the department.-
- Working with your team to provide ongoing support to business areas to develop performance measures-
- Managing and developing relationships with internal and external clients, service providers and other stakeholders-
- Assisting with the department’s engagement with the ANAO - as part of the annual performance statements audit-
- Continuous improvement program as part of the implementation of the performance Framework-
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training materials and guidance-
- Providing advice to line areas regarding performance measures and obligations under the PGPA Act-
- Managing the data and records associated with the performance framework and associated repositories to ensure accuracy and currency of information for compliance and internal and external reporting activities-
- Ensure record keeping practices are current and effective Engaging with colleagues in other divisions to enable a proactive and informed approach to assurance, risk or governance in the department’s policy, program and regulatory work-
- Developing and implementing diverse programs of work to enhance organisational capability through the provision of advice, facilitation of workshops, and the development of frameworks, processes, tools and guidance-
- Implementing systems and processes to ensure the department complies with Government policies to maintain effective governance-
- Managing business improvement processes such as automation of manual processes and implementation of new systems and tools-
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to advance the branch’s priorities and influence best practice**Who are we looking for?**- Strong project and risk management skills-
