**Your next opportunity**

The primary objective of the Asset Planning Manager is to deliver asset care and planning for safe, reliable and best cost outcomes for Boral’s cement sites. Role is based in the Southern Highlands. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, Technology and Assets, this role is to ensure that maintenance management systems including the CMMS, processes and procedures are implemented, maintained and continuously improved to ensure the availability and reliability of plant and equipment to meet forecast production volume and mix requirements. With a focus on asset management and lifecycle planning and reliability, this integral role will lead and support shutdown planning across cement sites including managing stakeholders and monitoring systems to support business outcomes.

**Your day will involve**:

- Contributing to the development and roll out of the asset care strategy for the Cement business unit
- Contributing to the development of asset lifecycle replacement plans incorporating inventory and spares
- Driving the reliability programme providing input to planning to meet plants reliability targets
- Managing the maintenance planning and scheduling processes to maximise resource utilisation and reduce maintenance work backlogs
- Minimising plant down time by developing and coordinating maintenance shutdown plans.
- Capital management and project management.
- Management of staff and contractors

**What are we looking for?**
- A trade qualification or Engineering Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical area.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance management and planning (or similar) and people management with exposure to heavy/industrial maintenance management.
- Expertise in Cement Industry or Heavy Industry in an inspection, planning or reliability role
- Experience in modelling maintenance standards and processes
- Proficiency with maintenance management systems, ideally Maximo.
