**About the venue: This Way Canteen**
A good-time sandwich bunker that focuses on simple and delicious daytime fare. Drawing inspiration from sandwich shops and cafes, it supplies a selection of sandwiches, salads and bespoke pastries, paired with espresso coffee & nutritious juices plus some wine & beer options. Located next to the Museum of Sydney.
**About the role**:
We are looking for an Assistant Cafe Manager (Leader) to join our team at This Way Canteen. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the rush of a busy cafe, is wanting to grow their leadership and management experience and wants their evenings free As the Assistant Leader you will exemplify great guest experience and help the Venue Leader develop the team and effective run the operation. Wed - Sunday availability with no nights
Some of your duties will include:
- Venue set up & pack down
- Managing the day-to-day operation in absence of Venue Leader
- Jumping between the sections
- Coffee & beverage making
- Reporting & Ordering
- Team communications
- Roster and timesheet approvals
