**This role is full time opportunity based in Brisbane.**

Reporting to the Manager AML/CTF Compliance, the Risk Analyst AML/CTF Compliance role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing AML/CTF compliance practices within First Line Operational Risk.

This includes supporting engagement in projects, independent reviews and operational enquiries such as oversight of customer due diligence, sanction and Know Your Customer activities as they relate to Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML CTF) regulations.

**What you’ll do**
- Provide compliance advice in relation to financial crimes, in particular AML/CTF compliance
- Provide clear and consistent risk advice on historic, current and emerging risk issues as they pertain to the business, be it existing, adapting or proposed products and services
- Support with Regulatory activities including regular monitoring and reporting as well as investigation, analysis and compiling information as required for specific requests
- Support audit and Operational teams to carry out audits by providing information, data, system access, procedures and other key governance artifacts as required
- Support remediation of Independent Review actions
- Execute control testing and undertake data analytics and make recommendations for design and operational improvements
- Support and maintain reporting and dashboards that bring together all financial crime teams data points to support AML/CTF activities
- Provide AML/CTF compliance input in support of business initiatives and financial crime projects as required

**What you’ll bring**
- Qualification in AML/CTF such as ACAMS is desirable
- 3 years Banking, AML CTF or KYC refresh experience desired
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to Senior Management
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of end to end banking processes
- Personal Integrity with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters
