**_This role will be offered as Adelaide based (with regular site travel) or Roxby Downs residential._**

In this role you will:

- Provide leadership and ongoing support for a team of training development and delivery professionals
- Designs and delivers training plans and improves training programs to maintain safety, compliance and performance during mining operations.
- Designs and implements governance/assurance practices and Management of Change procedures to control value outcomes across BHP.
- Responsible for the Governance and Legal compliance of training across the Asset.
- Management of learning systems including SuccessFactors LMS, PowerBI and learning dashboards.
- Support the transition of training programs across Copper SA.
- Drive innovative and creative solutions for adult learners to improve training and education across the Asset.
- Work collaboratively with other training teams to improve training delivery and risk management across the Asset.
- About You- To be successful in this role, you will be a strong people leader with a proven passion for Training. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will see you working closely with site and external stakeholders on a daily basis and ensure operational challenges are raised and mitigating actions are taken enabling you to build trusted relationships across site and functional departments across all levels.- You will also ideally have:
- Experience in leading and developing teams
- Passion for creating an engaging, supportive and inspiring culture
- Demonstrated commitment to achieving proactive training outcomes
- Formal qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Training, Human Resources or Organisational Development
- Demonstrated experience in Continuous Improvement initiative, looking at innovation and challenging the status quo
- Forward thinking and proactive work style
- A proven ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans
- Drive to continuously develop those around you
