As a Construction Supervisor, you will develop a firm understanding of our clients building operations, systems and processes to manage, supervise and control building sites and subcontractors to increase the efficient delivery of construction services, on time and within budget. Developing strong relationships is an absolute must, as a representative and to ensure support from 3 parties for future projects.

**As Construction Supervisor, you will be required to;**
- Direct support to Construction and Operations Managers to establish, review and implement Construction programs, procedures, work control systems and methods.
- Undertake negotiations with stakeholders such as suppliers, subcontractors, local and statutory authorities and home owners when required.
- Ensure construction of homes is completed within budget, timeframe, building regulations/standards and safety standards.
- Ensure construction integrity and safety management on all sites under your control.
- Oversee, manage and co-ordinate the construction workflow of your projects from Site start to completion of the end product including applicable maintenance periods.
- Ensure quality management systems are adhered to and completed to deliver our product to the required standard.
- Attend and participate in fortnightly construction meetings, identify actions and manage delivery all tasks.
- Plan, schedule and review projects under your control to ensure targets are achieved effectively.
- Maintain Beechwood Homes Safety standards on sites under your control to ensure the business complies with WH&S regulatory and governance requirements.
- Identify and communicate any process improvement strategies that you feel may minimize operational inefficiencies and unnecessary costs while still maintaining flexibility that allows the business to adapt to changes.

**What we are looking for in a Construction Supervisor,**

To be successful in this role, there are a few things we are looking for:

- Role model for culture and values by ensuring appropriate involvement, delegation and monitoring of staff.
- Open communicator who maintains good working relations internally and Sub-contractors and Suppliers.
- Capacity to work independently with mínimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Capacity to maintain a high degree of discretion and exercise sound judgment in dealing with sensitive matters,
- Exceptional communication (oral and written) and training facilitation skills, relationship building and networking skills, people management and leadership skills.
- Display flexibility to support the company’s strategic directions.
- Excellent client service skills and ability to identify analyse and solve complex problems, while managing and prioritising a challenging workload.
- Maintain relevant WH&S certification to support overseeing build operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry related regulations.
- Knowledge of the residential and/or commercial building/construction process and Australian Building Standards.
- Ability to look at the root cause of problems and develop effective solutions to difficult problems.
- Priority setting and Time management.
- Relationship building and networking skills.
- Creates a climate in which people want to do their best.
- Variations in building production time and extra to schedule (ETS) costs are mínimal.
- Low maintenance regime.

**Salary**: $80,021.71 - $110,863.02 per year
