The Digital Licence Program has delivered Queensland's first Digital Licence. The program is about delivering a better customer experience to Queenslanders using innovation and technology allowing access to services for customers in a safe and secure way. Continual improvement and providing a more efficient service delivery option through modernisation will see the Digital Licence expand to Whole of Government credentials.In the role of Principal System Analyst, you will engage and communicate with staff at all levels and disciplines across the organisation to ensure business requirements and functional solutions for the Digital Licence app and the Queensland Digital Identity for the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) are articulated and translated into solutions that are fit for purpose.
The key challenges in this role are to Identify interdependencies and balance competing demands to ensure project objectives are achieved and establish effective teams and relationships with stakeholders.
**Some of your key responsibilities will include**: - Assisting with the estimation of solutions and the prioritisation of functionality against desired cost benefit outcomes. Eliciting, defining, documenting and managing the requirements for the projects or work packages through the delivery lifecycle, uncovering areas for improvement, and documenting and communicating functional solutions to meet business needs. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management serving as the liaison between stakeholders and users. Conducting meetings, requirements workshops, presentations and working closely with stakeholders within the Customer Services, Safety and Regulation Division, Information Technology Branch (ITB), internal TMR business units, external providers, and software vendors, to support timely delivery of features on the Digital Licence and Queensland Digital Identity roadmap. Work within an Agile team adapting and developing best practice analysis and design techniques and methodologies, and actively seeking new ways and approaches to improve the breadth and efficiency of services.to suit the Program's needs and requirements. Develop and maintain a knowledge of the functional aspects and associated business processes of the systems that support the Digital Licence and the Queensland Digital Identity.
