**Woods & Co **have partnered with Australia's largest independently-owned music and events company. Collaborate closely with the Head of PR to deliver high-impact campaigns that make waves in the music & events industry.

**What do you do?**
- Activate full PR activity including pitching, strategy, writing press releases, promotional activity, coordinating artist interviews, on-ground promo and post-event reporting
- Develop and maintain strong work relationships with media
- Support the Head of PR to devise and deliver PR strategies and campaigns
- Reporting and providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Keep up to date and adapt to industry and global trends
- Devise creative angles and pitches for PR activity
- Assist in tracking and collating media exposure
- On site duties are required in this role, requiring you to make yourself available during festival and/or tour dates as required.

**What do you need?**
- 2+ years experience in a public relations role, ideally music industry background (lifestyle, entertainment, travel, agency experience also looked upon favourably)
- Established media contacts
- Passionate about music and knowledgeable about a variety of genres
- Strong planning and project management skills, ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Strong capabilities in pitching and devising creative story angles
- Deep understanding of the Australian media landscape across print, online, radio, magazines, blogs (overseas knowledge and contacts also looked upon favourably)
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms
- PR/Communications qualification or similar
