We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional who is passionate about building partnerships, translating organisational vision into action, and play a key role in supporting the business to drive high performance and build workforce capability.

As the HR Business Partnering Lead, you’ll have the ability to build effective working relationships with leaders, understanding their business drivers and individual needs to create significant business value. You’ll leverage the skills in the HRBP team to partner with the business to drive employee engagement, support career growth and development activities, provide mentoring, guidance and support the business.

Additionally, through your team, you’ll collaborate with the business to develop and deliver effective people programs, policies and practices that align with the strategic direction of the organisation and contribute to building high performance, capability, and culture. You’ll support the translation of employee survey data to actions that lead to change, facilitate performance appraisal and other performance management processes clarifying the link between organisation and individual performance.

With the courage to challenge the status quo, you will drive partnerships, build on already strong relationships between the People team and the business, provide guidance to people leaders is timely, informed and tailored to individual circumstances.

While leading the HRBP team, you’ll also maintain portfolio ownership.

**About you**

Experienced in the full employment life cycle, you’re an experienced leader, and model HR professionalism and exceptional leadership to inspire direction and delivery and drive a HR community culture. Within your team, you will support and motivate staff fostering collaboration, innovation, accountability, and teamwork.

With excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, you can influence and engage others, building rapport with ease, leading to strong relationships with people at all levels of the organisation. You’re flexible to respond to changing priorities and needs, while being comfortable to work with ambiguity.

With a bachelor degree or higher in human resources, commerce or equivalent, you’ll have extensive experience across a broad range of human resource disciplines coupled with developed leadership skills including coaching and mentoring others. You’ll have demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, with the capacity and drive to bring innovative solutions and a genuine appetite for business partnering.

Above all else, you like to have fun, love being part of a team to deliver on organisation goals and don’t mind the odd coffee here and there.
