Job Summary:
As a Credit Control Officer working with our esteemed client, you will play a crucial role in managing and minimizing aged debt, while ensuring timely payment from customers. Your problem-solving abilities, time management skills, and stakeholder management expertise will be instrumental in achieving successful outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize your problem-solving skills to proactively identify and resolve credit control issues, providing efficient and effective solutions to minimize aged debt.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring the collection targets are met while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Manage aged old debt by performing regular analysis of customer accounts, ensuring timely payment and promptly resolving any discrepancies or disputes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including the sales team and finance department, to manage relationships and provide accurate and timely information regarding customer credit status and debt recovery.
- Effectively manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as customers, to establish payment plans and resolve outstanding issues.
- Leverage your knowledge of SAP and other relevant credit control systems to record and track all credit control activities accurately.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on debt collection and credit control performance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a credit control position, preferably within the retail industry.
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency in SAP or similar credit control systems is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and analytical approach to resolving issues.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders.
- A proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships and achieving collection targets.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in maintaining financial records and reports.
