Project Coordinator

We're seeking a Project Coordinator from a Trades background to oversee a variety of maintenance projects.

We are partnered with a well-known national brand for the recruitment of a Project Coordinator. We're seeking someone from a Trades background who has progressed on to coordinating various maintenance type projects.
This is an initial 6 to 12 month contract with the potential to extend, and is working full time hours (38), Monday to Friday. This role is based in Kwinana, meaning you'll be home every night. On occasion, you'll get the opportunity to travel to some regional sites - but only on an as needs basis.

In terms of your background, you'll ideally have:
- Experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, fabrication or surface treatment within the chemical or mineral processing industry.
- Trade certificate - we are open to the type of trade you're from.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing and standards.
- Experience with industrial construction or maintenance work.
- Demonstrated competency with standard software e.g. MS Word, Excel etc. including any maintenance software.
- Experience with supervising a team of employees or contractors.
- Strong communication and writing skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Highly effective influencing skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisation skills with effective time management and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Prior to commencing, you'll need to provide a current police clearance and pass a D&A test - but we can talk you through that process.
