**Your new role as HR Business Partner **is responsible for partnering with leaders and employees to provide day to day operational support and advice, including leading end to end ER/IR case management, performance management and change management activities.

This role will work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to ensure people strategies are executed within their respective groups. This includes delivering fit for purpose solutions and trusted advice, to implement strategic HR initiatives.

Some local and national travel may be required.

**Skills and experience we think you’ll need** to be successful in your new role of HR Business Partner at Cleanaway include:

- Tertiary qualification in HR and/or Business or other related discipline required
- 5+ years’ working experience in a generalist business partner role required
- Demonstrated experience in and working knowledge of broad HR functions, including Employee and Industrial Relations, Award Interpretation, change management and talent management
- Sound experience in Human Resources/Employee Relations, specifically within a blue collar and heavily unionised workforce, working with enterprise agreements (and the negotiations of these), disputes, grievances, investigations and complex performance management, including providing advice and coaching to employees and leaders
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, build and maintain trusted and effective working relationships and partnerships with all levels of management within the business, colleagues, and other internal and external stakeholders including the ability to influence and negotiate to produce efficient and effective outcomes
- Strong understanding of the IR legislative environment and implications in which the role operates within
- Ability to explore business needs in a data-driven way, analytical by nature
- A collaborative and proactive approach with a focus on simplicity, ease of use and employee experience
- Your ability to influence and shape the strategic people agenda at all business levels will be welcomed
