**Clinical Risk Officer**

**About the role**

**This position is a senior role within the Clinical Governance Department**, with its main focus being on coordination of clinical risk management and associated quality improvement systems.

**This position reports through to the Clinical Risk Lead.**

**Essential experience**:

- Registered with APHRA as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife
- Knowledge and experience in the principles of clinical incident management, use of clinical incident management systems including investigation methodology and open disclosure.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in change management.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with implementation of quality improvement processes.
- Highly developed skills in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

**Remuneration**: Senior Registered Nurse - Level 1-2

**On offer is base hourly rate ranging from **$61.21 - $62.61 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

**Requirements**:
