This global organisation is looking for a Tax Specialist to join their team until October minimum. This role will be based close to the CBD but offers a lot of flexibility for the right individual to work from home.

Reporting to the CFO, this will be a standalone Tax position that requires initiative and research on new Tax standards. Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Reporting and Analysis - Ensure Global monthly and annual tax compliance obligations and other reporting is completed on time and to a high standard
- Financial Reporting - Assist with month-end processes
- Tax effect accounting.
- Tax Consolidations & reconciliations.
- Researching new legislation and finding solutions to complex matters.
- Cross-border tax issues, (such as residency, permanent establishment, transfer pricing, double tax agreements, withholding tax).

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Minimum of 4 years experience in international tax
- Completed bachelor's degree or higher in accounting / tax
- Good knowledge of AASB and IFRs
- Strong attention to detail
- Enjoy analytical projects and can work autonomously
- Deadline-driven and client-focused
- XERO experience - not critical but highly regarded
- A strong team player
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
