**Tax Specialists**

We are seeking highly experienced tax professionals to join the regulator’s Tax Avoidance, Taskforce teams.

Our client is a Commonwealth regulatory body focussed on providing fairness and equity to taxpayers.

The Tax Avoidance Task force provides an opportunity for tax specialist across law, accounting and tax advisory to make a real difference.

Roles can be based across any of the following locations: Adelaide, Box Hill, Brisbane, Canberra, Dandenong, Melbourne, Moonee Ponds, Parramatta, Penrith, Perth, Sydney, Upper Mount Gravatt.

Work with the brightest minds to stamp out misuse of trusts, overseas tax havens and opaque plans to conceal information, mischaracterise transactions, artificially deal with income and exploit taxation laws to avoid tax.

Work to stamp out tax scheme promoters, individuals and businesses who participate in such Arrangements.

You’ll join and learn from a team of corporate and international tax specialists brought together to focus on the exploitation of taxation laws.

The opportunity to interact and negotiate with clients and stakeholders on various Tax issues. As a member of this team, you will be able to test yourself against the best minds in your field, not just here but on a global stage. You will perform a range of complex client engagement activities that will help to achieve positive outcomes that benefit the whole community and protect the integrity of the taxation system.

**Duties**:

- Work as part of a dynamic team dealing with tax avoidance
- Contribute to a range of complex client engagement activities
- Negotiate with clients using professional expertise
- Build capability, by coaching and mentoring others
- Perform quality assurance activities

**Skills**:

- Recognised qualifications in a tax, accounting, business or law-related discipline would be highly regarded.
