**The Role**:
My client, is currently seeking a Retail Operations Manager to join their Centre Management Team located within Queanbeyan. The Operations Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the shopping centre facilities.

The Retail Operations Manager will contribute to maintaining a productive and comfortable work environment for all the key stakeholders within the shopping centre asset. You will have a keen passion for managing retail building services & maintenance whilst also having a good understanding of OHS procedures compliance & risk and the ability to ensure a dedicated approach is taken towards safety so that disruptions to tenants are minimised.

**Job Duties**:

- Managing the day-to-day operations of the shopping centre facilities, including managing any of the maintenance requests, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage the centres life cycle plan and asset register
- Assisting in preparing and managing the facilities operations budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities whilst providing any recommendations on capital expenditures related to Operations
- Experience in managing and looking after reactive and preventative maintenance issues
- Managing and ensuring all tenants requests, work orders, escalations are completed efficiently and effectively
- Monitor the performance of service providers and contractors to ensure high standards of service delivery
- Assist in managing relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards or safety concerns within the Asset
