The Agency Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering innovative and engaging learning programs across a variety of mediums, that equip our Travel Agency Partners with the tools and skills they need to promote and sell all things Qantas.

Representing the Agency Partner Learning team and reporting to the Agency Learning Manager, you'll work collaboratively with a multitude of stakeholders including Senior National Account Managers, National Account Managers, offshore sales teams, sales support teams, alliance partners and the broader customer and commercial relationships team. You will work with suppliers to utilise best in class technology and digital tools to deliver solutions with innovation at the forefront. All the while, underpinned with a commercial focus and ensuring a strategic approach aligned to Sales & Distribution’s broader commercial strategy, Qantas Group strategy, Brand Guidelines and L&D principles.

With a strong focus on eLearning development that suits a global audience - you'll have sound knowledge of adult learning principles, and a good eye for design and the User Experience (UX). You'll be able to step back and see the bigger picture in learning and be flexible to change focus and priorities as required.

The Agency L&D Specialist is also required to host events and learning in-person and online, therefore strong facilitation and engagement skills are essential.

What you’ll bring to the role:
- Certificate IV in TAA - Training and Assessment and/or TAE - Training and Education.- Preferred experience in Articulate Storyline, though not essential.-
- Sound knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design theories.- Experience in developing and executing L&D programs in ways that embrace a continuous improvement and innovative approach.- Proven experience creating engaging eLearning materials, with a strong eye for design.- A proactive approach, being and innovative and lateral thinker with an ability to analyse critically and find creative solutions.- Proven ability to meet deadlines within a budgetary framework.- Strong commercial and financial acumen.- Well-developed written, verbal and presenting skills.- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
