**The opportunity**
Right now, we have a rewarding opportunity for a **Specialist Incident Management and Recovery** to join our Greater Sydney IT Portfolio team on a **Permanent Full** **Time Basis in Burwood.** This exciting opportunity will see you provide specialist advice and skills to ensure the successful implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of cyber defence, risk and resilience services across the Greater Sydney IT Portfolio. Please note that the team operates in a hybrd envireonment and w**ork from home option is available.**
**A part of this role includes being available for 24X7 On call support as part of Cyber Security Operations team.** We are looking for someone who can act as a reliable point of escalation for service incidents.
**What you will be involved in**:
- Lead incident & crisis (emergency) management, undertake tasks as directed to assist in the resolution and recovery from a crisis event.
- Maintaining exceptional service quality and keeping our clients and business partners satisfied will be your top priority
- Establish policies, systems, and procedures and monitor compliance with these.
- Analyze and report trends in incidents and contribute to the service improvement roadmap. Develop, maintain and test Incident Response plan(s), procedures, and playbook
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the rapidly evolving cyber security, risk, and resilience landscape, including threats, technologies, policies, and regulatory environment and how changes affect the organisation
- Demonstrate a strong client focus and professional approach when communicating with customers, partners, and internal staff
**About you**
- Demonstrated skill and experience in the delivery of cyber defence, security, risk and resilience services.
- Experience supporting and leading Cyber Incident Response (IR) and Threat Management (detect, respond and recover)
- Proven ability to work with individuals and organisations from all backgrounds and industries, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, as well as tools and methodologies
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- CISSP preferred but not essential
- Are process driven, clear communicator and skilled problem solver, able to navigate through ambiguity in a calm and methodical manner to make data driven, risk sensitive decisions
- Client focused with strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated, have a can-do attitude with a lot of confidence
- You are a collaborator but always looking to how we can do things better
- Able to operate with autonomy in determining day to day work priorities within the context of an agreed work plan
**Salary and Benefits**
The salary for this position is Grade 9 ($142,178 to $159,238) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
