The Moore Australia (VIC) Vacationer Program offers students practical insight across multiple service lines of the firm. It is a chance to have hands-on experience in a professional services environment, learning the basics of the different roles of two divisions.
As a Vacationer you will be given the opportunity to experience work life across two different divisions over the course of six weeks, the program will convene in Summer 2023/24.
We are looking to welcome Vacationers to both our Melbourne and Geelong office to experience a rotation across the following disciplines:
Melbourne CBD
- Business Advisory Services (Accounting)
- Audit and Assurance (Accounting)
- Corporate Finance
- Wealth Management
- Tax Advisory
- Governance and Risk Advisory
Geelong
- Business Advisory Services (Accounting)
- Audit and Assurance (Accounting)
**The Program**
Our six-week program gives you the opportunity to assist with client work, participate in training sessions, and shadow team members across all levels.
The program will provide:
- A first look into the professional services environment
- 1:1 buddy support
- A chance to start building your professional services network
- Exposure to multiple services lines within a public practice firm
- Involvement in our regular firm social events
- The possibility of a 2024 or 2025 Graduate opportunity
Our goal is to give you a memorable experience that will help drive your next career move and potentially join us in the following year as one of our Graduates.
**At the end of your experience with us you will**:
- Understand the basics tasks of your divisions in a professional services environment
- Have developed interpersonal and communication skills in a professional services environment
- Understand the work performed at various levels from Graduate through to Director
- Exposure to the administrative aspects of running a professional services business
- Understand the various work streams or divisions within Moore Australia (VIC)
**About you**
- A collaborative team player with a willingness to participate
- Motivated to learn and grow for your own personal and professional development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- In your penultimate or final year of study, in an accounting, commerce or business-related degree
- Please note if you are interested in our Business Advisory Service or Audit and Assurance divisions you will need to be studying an accounting degree or major in accounting.

**To be considered for the Vacationer Program, all applicants must be available to attend an assessment centre and attend interview(s) between 15 May 2023 and 26 May 2023.**
