**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**About the Accounts Officer Role**:
As the **Aviation Accounts Officer **, you will be responsible for capturing, preparing and reconciling flight information for the purpose of financial accruals and reporting. The role also incorporates the processing of invoices and credit claims for both internal and external suppliers and customers. Other responsibilities include the maintenance of charter flight costings and working with other departments to minimise revenue leakage and to maximise profitability for the business.

**What you’ll do (duties/responsibilities including/not limited to)**:

- Accounts Payable duties will make up about two thirds of your duties (circa 150 invoices a month)
- Preparing reports on flight data, debtors balances, fuel pricing, fuel surcharges, aircraft capacity utilization, and fright volumes etc.
- Analysis of reports
- Accounts Receivable
- Reconciliations
- Assis the Commercial Manager to achieve accurate and timely completion of month end financial results

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- At least 1+ years experience working in a similar role (AP, AR, Invoicing etc.)
- Attention to detail is imperative, as dealing with often complicated multi-million-dollar invoices
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Oracle EBS software experience (desirable/not essential)
