The Procurement Specialist will assist the business in the development, deployment and management of procurement strategies in order to deliver sustained value and competitive advantage to business units within the Healius Group.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement and manage source to contract strategy that deliver material benefits as recognised by the business and finance team, and that contribute to the Group’s strategic objectives and performance targets.
- Work closely with the Category Managers and support them to plan, develop and implement their Category Plans
- Develop and Lead tender processes including assisting with contracting
- Ensure project plans are deployed and appropriate reporting is in place for the purposes of tracking benefits and project status
- Contribute to the development and embedding of Procurement processes across the business
- Develop, implement and maintain appropriate service/relationship models with key suppliers, business units and stakeholders
- Identify and implement innovation and continuous improvement through the relationship with stakeholders

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics or business
- 2-3 years proven procurement, strategic sourcing and/or spend analytics experience
- Evidence of negotiation, analytical and stakeholder relationship management skills
- Experience in managing the performance of suppliers as required
- Understanding of the economics of pricing or costing and vendors commercial practices and accountabilities
- Advanced excel skills, demonstrated experience using ERP systems and business intelligence tools is preferable
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Effectively able to understand the business and strategic direction of the business
