**About the opportunity**

Do you have experience in the mental health field or with recovery-orientated practices? We are seeking a driven and motivated individual that shares our passion in helping others, to work in partnership with individuals, their families and carers to provide a range of non-clinical based support to assist the individual to achieve their recovery goals.

As part of the Recovery team, you will form part of a joint effort to assist people who are experiencing severe or persistent mental health issues to progress and regularly monitor their recovery journey by working towards goals that increase their inclusion in the community. Your duties will include developing individual recovery plans with each participant which will incorporate their individual goals, focusing on skill and knowledge development. You will also work with participants to plan their exit from the program and assist in building longer term support networks.

**To be successful in this role**

Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will go hand in hand with your demonstrated alignment with Wellways values. You will hold a relevant qualification or demonstrated experience and skills in providing high-quality recovery-orientated services to people experiencing mental health challenges.

**You will also need**:

- Prior experience working within the mental health industry or community-based organization
- A relevant qualification or demonstrated experience and skills in providing recovery-orientated services to people experiencing mental health challenges
- Lived experience of Mental Health Recovery
- Current valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake travel for the role
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Right to Work within Australia
- Satisfactory National Police Records Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Evidence of COVID vaccination with booster or valid medical exemption
