**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Fleet and Equipment Quality Officer is responsible for conducting vehicle and equipment quality inspections, developing quality inspection documents, processes and procedures, and for the continuous improvement of those within the NSW Ambulance Fleet, Equipment and Uniform department. The position holder will support relevant key stakeholders to ensure that projects are realised within the agreed timeframes and quality expectations. The Fleet and Equipment Quality Officer will provide quality expertise and support in facilitating the achievement of projects, corporate objectives, strategies and plans efficiently and effectively.

The Fleet and Equipment Quality Officer will assist with developing quality improvement initiatives, maintaining and ensuring compliance with quality standards, and associated operationalising and implementation tasks. **ABOUT YOU**
- Ability to develop and implement quality work procedures and control systems.
- Experience in quality improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated technical background with a minimum Cert III trade qualification and high level understanding about quality and the requirements of product compliance to specification and standards
- Demonstrated technical background with a minimum Cert III trade qualification (or higher)
