NSW Education Standards Authority ('NESA') was formally established on 1 January 2017 to improve quality teaching and student learning across all schools and school sectors. It is responsible for the curriculum, assessment, teacher accreditation and regulatory standards in NSW schools, and accreditation of early childhood teachers.
We are looking for multiple Cyber Security Analysts to perform a wide range of security program activities including management of Cyber Security maturity, information assets, incident, and development of security assessment questionnaire. Whilst ensuring that the information is protected in terms of confidentiality, integrity, availability and complies with the organisation's security policies.
There will be the opportunity to undergo training and grow your skills in the area of cyber security.
Benefits also include a 35 hour working week, flexible working, rostered days off and annual leave loading.

**To be successful in the role**:
You will be passionate about technology and also education. You will need to have the following skills and experience:
Technical experience within the IT infrastructure and/or networking space
Understanding of cyber security technologies
Knowledge of cyber security - threat assessments, vulnerability assessments etc
Knowledge of cyber security standards
Experience in incident management

This role is responsible for working closely with internal stakeholders to maintain compliance to international information security standards. Please describe your experience; citing examples of tools, techniques and communication used to engage with stakeholders and ensure successful delivery of information security priorities.

Describe your experience in identifying and managing threats, exploits and vulnerabilities. Citing examples. What strategies did you use to mitigate the risk? How did you collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely responses and resolution? What were the learnings from this experience?
