Working collaboratively with the Board and scientific advisors, you will ensure the achievement of the company’s long-term strategy on behalf of shareholders, and for the benefit of neurological patients.

You are an accomplished leader and executive manager in biotech, with a proven track record in drug development, including human clinical trials, and a flair for fundraising. Familiarity with ASX compliance issues is a critical success factor. The ability to gain the support of shareholders and investors is also vital.

Neuroscientific Biopharmaceutical is an Australian public listed company (ASX:NSB) developing novel peptide-based pharmaceutical products that target a number of neurological disorders and diseases of the eye that have high unmet need.

**About the role**

This is a pivotal moment in NSB’s development. The Company wishes to appoint a seasoned CEO with the experience and capability to lead the Company’s strategy and to deploy its resources and technology. The primary objective of this role will be to lead and evolve NSB such that it is effective in the evaluation, design, development and execution of the Company’s human healthcare business strategy and objectives in the best interests of all NSB’s shareholders.

You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the Company’s long-term strategy with a view to creating shareholder value, overseeing the clinical development of NSBs technology, and working with the Board on the Company’s fundraising activities.

The new CEO will report to the Board through the Chairman, Paul Rennie, and the position will be based in Perth, Adelaide, or Melbourne.

**Position Summary**

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible to the Board of Directors for the overall leadership and management of the NSB and the implementation of the decisions of the Board.

Specifically, the role is responsible for the company’s short and long-term commercial sustainability through clear, innovative, and engaging leadership that provides strategic and operational performance across the company as determined by agreed key performance indicators. The company is at a pivotal stage in the development of assets into the human clinical trial stage and needs good leadership and management to take forward efficiently.

The CEO must ensure that the company conducts clinical trials and associated studies, ensures the company manufactures the highest quality therapeutic products, delivers a sound and improving financial position, communicates all material matters to the Board and shareholders, provides strong staff engagement and support, and effective relationships with the company’s clients including investors and with other healthcare partners as well as relevant State and Federal agencies and academic institutions.
