Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.

**Roster** - Monday to Friday

Provide production oversight to monitor and manage the production processes for aftermarket products or components and ensure that production meets quality, quantity, and timeline requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Business Development: Develop compelling business cases for nominated projects, including "make versus buy" analyses and modeling of inputs.
- Project Integration: Collaborate with Portfolio Delivery Managers to align project roadmaps with production pathways.
- Best Practices: Identify and implement standardized production systems that promote best practices across all manufacturing locations, ensuring consistency across all Green Fleet projects.
- Commercialization Focus: Prepare business cases with a clear path to support Aftermarket execution and commercialization, ensuring we maximize the impact of our innovations.
- Team Building: Recruit and grow manufacturing teams for assigned projects, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Supply Chain Alignment: Synchronize supply chain and manufacturing plans, systems, and processes to ensure seamless transitions to Aftermarket functions.
- Quality Assurance: Support the development of PFMEA, control plans, SOP’s, MBOM’s, and work instructions for identified machines and products.
- Industry 4.0 Integration: Implement cutting-edge Industry 4.0 techniques within our digitally driven organization.
- Vendor Management: Source and manage line integrators and equipment providers for plant design and implementation.
- Talent Development: Conduct staff appraisals and create action plans to enhance staff competence, training, and capability.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience: Proven leadership in manufacturing facilities, from startup to full operation. Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive success from the ground up.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in rail, mining equipment, high voltage control systems, and a track record of product innovation is a plus.
- Lean Manufacturing: Background in Lean practices, including 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and hands-on experience in Automation and digital manufacturing.
- Business Process Leadership: Adept at leading business process improvements beyond operations.
- Assembly Expertise: Knowledge of assembly processes (welding, adhesive, robotic assembly, automated lines), including complex electromechanical products.
- Program Management: Excellent program management skills, with demonstrated portfolio management capability.
- Education: Technical degree (STEM or Operational management) preferred, post-graduate management studies beneficial.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor others in disciplined problem-solving tools.
- Quality Assurance: Experience in implementing APQP and PPAP processes.
- Technology: Knowledge of iPLM systems (Integrated Product Lifecycle Management) and statistical techniques (MSA, Acceptance Sampling, Process Capability, Statistical Process Control, Gauge R & R) is an advantage.
