**About the Role**
The Cybersecurity Advisory Consultant plays a crucial role in supporting the University's security measures by providing specialized cybersecurity advice and ensuring that solutions align with best practices and the University's risk profile.

**Who we are looking for**
- We are seeking an influencer and a leader
- A relevant qualification and/or extensive relevant experiences.
- Professional security management certification, such as CISSP, CISA, SANS or other certifications.
- Strong analytical skills
- Extensive experience in conducting methodical, detailed security assessment of vendors and technologies
- Extensive experience in consulting to projects and engineering robust solutions
- Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity standards and guidelines
- To ensure the University continues to provide a safe environment for everyone, this position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check._

**This role requires current valid work rights for Australia.**
