**About our Procurement Team**

The Woolworths’ Procurement team is an enterprise-wide function, and our job is to provide thought leadership, and best practice advice and deliver a service that adds value to our business partners. The team is positioned to drive change and continuous improvement across the business while continually focused on providing excellent customer experiences for our stakeholders.

**About the role
**This role is responsible for executing the Woolworths Procurement Strategy across IT & T, ensuring delivery of internal customer needs, and delivering against the annual sourcing plans to deliver cost reductions, cost avoidance, working capital, and revenue-generating benefits across spend nontrade goods & services.

This includes the development and execution of category strategies and sourcing events to deliver the best total value outcomes, whilst providing high levels of customer service and compliance with procurement policies, standards, processes, and best practices.

Deliverables include:

- Working with your Technology stakeholders to understand contract requirements and/or variations, ensuring they meet established timeframes. Using your commercial acumen to understand the top priorities of the business, as it aligns with the overall strategy.
- Tendering, negotiation, and contract management, driving contract negotiations, and managing separation and variations
- Influencing your stakeholders to embrace change, to unlock value from initiatives, with Risk Management strategies to support.
- Supplier relationship management includes working closely with the business to set KPIs for suppliers, regular tracking and reporting, vendor management frameworks, and data sources for performance tracking.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, focusing on improvement initiatives.
- Performance reporting and compliance, ensuring regular updates on performance and value being delivered.
- Input into category objectives that reflect best practice

**About You
Ideally, you will have 5+ years of experience in a similar procurement or commercial role,
having negotiated major strategic and complex deals that delivered significant commercial outcomes.

You will have a solid appreciation of category management principles and processes, with an understanding of contract law, with proven experience in managing a multi-million dollar spend categories across a large organisation and geography.

Other skills and attributes include:

- Strategic category planning, analysis, and execution skills.
- Experience in the development and execution of sourcing strategies.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end category management within a large complex organisation.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Understanding of business and financial models
- Strong results focus, with a continuous improvement skill set.
