**Ramsay Health Care** is seeking a **Facilities Manager** to join our **South Metro Network **in this **Permanent Full Time **opportunity.
**Will work across The Avenue Private Hospital and Masada Private Hospital**
**The Opportunity**
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for the engineering and maintenance management of our facilities within our private hospital network. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your extensive facility management skills to ensure that our buildings, plant and equipment are maintained to appropriate regulations and standards.
You will be responsible for the preventative and adhoc facility maintenance requirements which are completed by both in-house personnel and contracted service providers. Integral to your success will be proven ability to manage competing requirements, meet deadlines and engage with stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.
With a variety of facilities in the network you will be able to show your skills in managing both older and newer buildings and plant to meet required standards and budgets. A number of local developments and plant upgrade projects are in the pipeline and your leadership in these will be a challenging but rewarding opportunity to support our hospital teams to ensure that we can continue to provide the highest levels of care to our patients.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Trade or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Qualifications
- Experience in commercial or hospital facility management, including development and implementation of preventive maintenance plans
- Previous experience in a maintenance/leadership role
- Demonstrative knowledge of building codes and legislative adherence
- Proven experience in external contractor management, including negotiation of maintenance contracts
- Experience managing defect and warranty periods
- Demonstrated understanding of OH&S requirements & accreditation/certification processes including continuous improvement principles
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills
- Previous hospital maintenance/facilities experience is highly desirable
**Remuneration**:
On offer is a **Full-Time Equivalent** salary ranging from $100K **plus superannuation** based on experience level and qualifications

**The Avenue Hospital**: is an advanced 152 bed private surgical and medical hospital. The Avenue Hospital together with some of Australia’s leading orthopaedic surgeons has developed a reputation for excellence in orthopaedic surgery including joint replacement and the management of sports injuries. It also has one of the longest established and most reputable Bariatric (Obesity) surgical programs in Australia.e.
**Masada Private Hospital**: Masada Private Hospital is a 105 bed acute medical, surgical facility with specialised dermatology, early parenting and rehabilitation services. The Bayside Rehabilitation Centre offers: 30 single rooms each with private ensuites, equipped gymnasium and therapy spaces to progress patients’ physical and functional goals. Access to patients with private health cover, TAC, DVA, WorkCover and self-funded. Our four operating theatres are equipped for both minor and complex procedures.
