**Your Day to Day**

To support our growth agenda in our region, we have a newly created role of Procurement Specialist - Australasia and Pacific. The role will report into our Procurement Manager for the same region and will partner with the manager to deliver our procurement strategy for the region. This will include
- Support the market and regional lead with the delivery of sourcing solutions for relevant Hotel expenditure as defined by the Regional Procurement Strategy, leading key sourcing and procurement projects as required.
- Support the implementations of solutions in the owner estate to standardize Guest Experience and create efficient opening solutions.
- Support and monitor compliance and success of different cluster programs,
- Help ensure all Global Procurement processes and standards are followed in these processes embedded in this endeavor (Responsible Procurement and Sustainability, DoA, Contract Standards)
- Support hotel opening projects, system and process implementations as needed to implement relevant in-market programs.

**What we need from you**

To be successful in this role the following skills and attributes are essential would be highly desirable.
- Procurement experience within the hospitality experience will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Track record of supporting complex projects, preferably within a client or hotel facing environment
- Ability to work within cross functional working groups and within a fast-paced business environment.
- Experience in hotel pre-opening in managing procurement OS&E and FF&E budget list for mixed hospitality projects.
- Contract management skill
- Knowledge of Ariba system and other P2P platform: Purchase Plus, Materials Control
- Advance Microsoft PowerPoint Skills - Ability to develop dynamic PowerPoint presentations.
