Could you be the full-time Industrial Planner that we are looking for?

**Your future role**
Alstom is currently looking for an Industrial Planner to join the team in Dandenong to be part of the VLocity project delivery or 23 new trains. In this role you will manage the adequacy between Demand (Firm & Forecast) and Resources (Manufacturing & Procurement) to reach customers QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and projects timescales while optimising site resources (people, machines & cash).

In this role you will report to the Lead Industrial Planner and work closely with key stakeholders in the project team to deliver to the project by releasing work orders and creating schedules to meet deadlines.

**We’ll look to you for**:

- Ensure and update the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints)
- Manage Stock Policy and Size Inventory Levels
- Define & Control Buy Material Master Data
- Manage Material Net Demand
- Calculate and Update Forecasts
- Material scheduling / Manage Material Scheduling activities at project /product initialization and Change
- Material scheduling / Manage Material Scheduling activities at project /product closure
- Identify Needs & Define Requirements, Contribute to External Standards Definition, Improvement & Validation, Manage Impact of External Standards on Processes & Tools, Manage External Standards & Regulations Deployment.

- Graduate in Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain
- Supply Chain certification is desirable
- Experience with ERPs (SAP is preferred)
