Our client is a national, multi-modal transport and logistics company who provide Australia’s most efficient and independent freight services. We are looking to hire an Administration Assistant to support and report to the National Linehaul Director for the company.

**About the Admin Assistant role**:

- Support and report directly to the National Linehaul Manager
- Ability to fulfil the inherent requirements of the role in a timely, accurate and efficient manner with specific reference to Sales Order Updates and processing, Shipment and SPO completion
- Update and document linehaul spreadsheet with complete and accurate details
- Send details to drivers / contractors and communicate requirements
- Process all Chep and Loscam paperwork in 2IC, highlight any problems areas to pallet controller
- Debrief all linehaul associated paperwork and upload in SAP plus pre approval of contractors invoices
- Accurate completion of all required reports within allocated timeframes, including but not limited to, exception reporting, SPO reporting and shipment reporting
- Reports all incidents, hazards and nears misses immediately to Supervisor and completes the incident report book details
- Work in a manner which will not endanger himself or herself, or any other person within the organisation
- Conduct yourself in a manner that ensures our client is recognised as a safe, reliable and quality supplier of services
- Participate, as required in Risk Assessments, Inspections and operational meetings as required that affect the business locations
- Attendance and completion of all training requirements allocated
- Desire to upskill across other areas of the business to ensure optimum coverage of business requirements

**About you**:

- Must have full working rights within Australia and an Australian Drivers licence
- You have an Australian Drivers Licence
- Desirably you have obtained a Certificate IV - Business Administration or Transport & Logistics or equivalent
- You hold transport industry knowledge and experience in a similar role
- Previous experience & knowledge of warehouse and rail transport industries, using SAP & Freight scanning environment are all highly desirable although not necessary
- You have excellent communication skills
- You possess the ability to work autonomously and as a member of a small team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- You're able to manage a workload, meeting deadlines and being organised at all times
- Typing with great speed and high accuracy when entering large amounts of data into system (little mistakes to be made)
- You posses general administrative skills such a photocopying, scanning, organising folders, answering customer queries, etc
- Ensuring that no “small details” are overlooked during tasks, activities and projects
- You have an understanding of WHS legislations as they pertain to this role
