Is 2023 your opportunity to join ING, Australia’s most recommended bank in the capacity of **KYC (Know Your Customer) Manager** in our growing **Wholesale Banking** team?

We’re on the hunt for an experienced **KYC (Know Your Customer) Manager **who’ll provide governance and oversight of the Service Providers who deliver on our Wholesale Banking KYC activities. You’ll be covering the entire end-to-end client KYC lifecycle from on boarding, periodic/event reviews and off-boarding; as well as supporting Front Office in KYC matters.

We’re looking for someone with exceptional knowledge of **Wholesale/ Institutional Banking landscape** who can add immediate value. You’ll be accountable for service & relationship management (including SLAs - timeliness and quality), regulatory management (which includes controls and risk assessment), outsourcing framework (managing the service lifecycle) and cost management & process improvement.

**What are you going to do? You will be**
- Managing and coordinating local and offshore teams to ensure predictable high level service delivery
- Working with outsourcing managers and service providers to ensure complaince to CPS231 and global sourcing policies
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to proactively manage all risks
- Proactively identifying potential issues and gaps and addressing those as per agreed timelines
- Ensuring all regulatory requirements and controls are met
- Ensuring there is a strong focus on continuous improvement to optimise cost/quality/timeliness

**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- Understanding of AML/CTF requirements and KYC processes **for assessment of legal entities**:

- ** Sound knowledge of Wholesale/Institutional Banking lending products**, associated processes and regulatory requirements
- Approximately 15+ years banking experience including leading KYC teams and management of 3rd party service providers
- Proven experience in driving process improvement initiatives delivering sustainable change and improved service
- Ability to recognise complex issues and quickly identify possible options followed by implementation
- Exceptional conflict resolution & negotiation skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- People leadership with the ability to set objectives/KPIs, performance manage and coach
- The ability to work under pressure, with multiple deliverables in a complex/high pressure environment
