We are seeking an Ethics Coordinator to join Austin Cancer Clinical Trials Centre
- Full time (or part-time on negotiation)
- Working in the ONJ Centre with hybrid working onsite and working from home.

**About the Cancer Clinical Trials Centre**

Austin Health’s CCTC has a reputation of excellence with expertise in managing clinical trials from First-in-human Phase 1 to Phase 3. We have over 200 clinical trials in progress including Pharmaceutical Company sponsored, Collaborative Group and Investigator-initiated trials.

**About the role**
A regular day will see you:

- Manager Ethics and Research Governance submissions as part of the study start up team, and receipt of approvals/acknowledgements for all clinical research projects conducted across the uni
- Working closely and effectively with Austin Departments and other applicable vendors, to ensure optimal workflow.
- Prepare ongoing amendment and essential documents processing as well as general ethics related correspondence in liaison with Investigators and Sponsors.
- Maintain the unit Master Ethics Tracker to assure oversight and transparency of all ethics related activities.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:

- An understanding of cancer/biology with appropriate tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in an administrative/life science field.
- Knowledge and experience in ethics and research governance submissions, receipt, and optimal electronic repository of approvals/acknowledgements for clinical research projects.
- Proven ability to work independently and part of a team, adhering to tight deadlines, working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to develop and maintain good working relationship with internal and external parties.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and Excel
